My story
My sister Krista was my biggest artistic inspiration growing up, here we were drawing and painting horses, from horse books.
Hi! Moi! Hola!
My name is Angelica, and I also go by "Anki" or "Angie".
I am a 35-year old artist from Finland. I live currently at Kämmenniemi Tampere.
I am also a Yogi and certified Barkan Hot Yoga teacher. I love animals and nature, dancing and biking.
Background
I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts and Culture in 2015 from the Art Institute at Lahti University. After school I was teaching an art group at Nauha RY, unemployment rehabilitation center, till I had my son Angelo 2019. Now I have been active with art exhibitions for few years, and I have finally set up my own studio.

I love to travel and my background is very diverse. Part of my family lives in Bristol, London (UK) and part in Seattle, Washington, USA.
Favoritos
My favorite painting techniques are acrylic and watercolor. Tempera is also a new favourite. It has thought me that you can also make your own paints from pigments. I am enthusiastic about large surfaces, sculptures and I love mural projects!

At the announcement of the President's official portrait, with my artist colleague and friend Anna-Kaisa Träff, to which we both participated painting. We were also part of the original Puzzle group, and mosaic was Anna-Kaisa's idea ✨
Interview
We had a Japanese workaway Tora visit my family, and help us with everyday things, mean while I had the gift and opportunity to concentrate more in the January exhibition, Vetus et Novum. He wanted to make an interview about dreamers, people who have big dreams and go after them, I am the first interview.

I was part of the student group, who arranged the original mosaic address to the Presidental candidates, also was part of painting a piece in both old and new versions of Sauli, as well as Pekka Haavisto (foreign minister 2019-2023)
